Nalisniki z Twarogiem (Polish Cheese Crepes)
♡
Did you know?
Polish nalesniki are eaten in both sweet and savoury forms, and the cheese-filled version is one of the most nostalgic home breakfasts for many families.
Method
In a bowl, whisk together flour, milk, eggs, salt, and a little sugar into a smooth batter.
Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
Heat a non-stick pan lightly greased with oil and cook thin crepes one by one on both sides.
In a separate bowl, mix twarog, vanilla, and sugar until smooth.
Spoon the filling onto each crepe and fold into rolls or envelopes.
Return the filled crepes to the pan and warm gently for 1-2 minutes per side.
Serve with berries, honey, or sour cream.
